Reviews of A&W in Agassiz

We stopped on our way home after a family weekend in harrison hot springs. I stood at the counter for quite some time before I placed my order. They were visibly very busy so I waited patiently with my 2 children. After ordering I went and got ketchup and napkins and took them to my husband while he saved us a seat. I went back to the counter when a different employee who had come from the back loudly yelled in front of the whole restaurant, can I help you ma'am. I replied no and that I was just waiting for our food and drinks. She proceeded to speak to me in a very rude tone that they were doing the best they could and it would be a while so sit down. I didn't ask why our food was taking so long or even say one word. I was shocked so I sat down while we waited for our food, my back was to the counter so she couldn't see me at all. She brought our food over and we were missing a drink and 2 hash browns. I mentioned it and she said she would get my receipt. She proceeded to go over it with me and the Hashbrowns were not on the receipt. I said we ordered meals but I'll come pay because my kids just need to eat. She sarcastically said no it was our mistake so they would give them to us. I'm not sure what the point of the receipt was if they were going to give them to us anyways but ok. She then launched into a big story of how they are short staffed etc (while leaning overtop of me in my face) and how we need to be patient and they were doing the best they could. I asked her why she was personally attacking me when I had said and done absolutely nothing. She told me that actions speak louder than words, which I was obviously confused about as I had said and done nothing except wait for my food. My husband finally said for f***k sakes leave us alone so we can eat our food. She then proceeded to yell and scream she would not be sworn at! We did not swear at her and due to her escalating anger we left. This was all in front of my small children who were very scared. I will mention that the gentleman before us was also missing a hash brown and there was a woman whose meal was missed and she stood waiting for over 20 minutes. This employee deserves to be fired, we will never return to this A&W.
