Barrie Karate is more than a place to work in strength, discipline and martial arts. It’s a friendly, welcoming learning community that feels more like family setting! At Barrie Karate you will learn techniques while growing mentally and physically while expanding your knowledge in the art!

My son joined OMG 5 years ago and has grown from a shy, scared and timid child with a slight anger issue into a confident, caring, hardworking child who will help other students and enjoys when called upon to teach other students. My son, who went from crying on the floor his first belt exam, refusing to talk to anyone, will now help students with corrections and bow the students in and out of class. Did Barrie Karate play a major part in his positive character development through the years? Absolutely.
