Reviews of Tireland Auto Centre in Blackfalds

Alright here we go i know i am not the first i know i will not be the last complaint about Tireland Red Deer. We bought Zanders Car this year and put snow tires on that were bought @tirelandnorthreddeer 3000kms later the sidewall blows out and wrecks the rim. Aurthur the owners calls and says yes its under warranty but not the wrecked rim. The car we bought is AWD so any unbalanced rim can cause damage to the AWD.

This guy calls me every name under the sun the tells me to come to Blackfalds to which i say sure, the texts me and warns i cannot trespass at Blackfalds.

And yes i will not let him away with this we will sue.

These folks are terrible. I was in a bit of predicament so despite a bad feeling stayed. They ripped me off for tires. Came back with a ridiculous list of repairs. Unprofessional, untrustworthy. Don't go here!

Had my vehicle in there not long ago with a major real seal leak. Was given a price and when I asked for my total it was hundreds above what I was told. I fought it and said they could not just up my total hundreds of dollars without confirming it by me first. Long story short they honoured the original quote but said I should pay for the pieces they put in. I agreed. I picked up paid for it (close to $2000) and left.
Not even a month later I was on the highway with my son and my vehicle started making noises and smelt like burning. I pulled over and there was oil EVERYWHERE. I got it towed to their shop and said my rear seal broke again causing my engine to blow. They claimed my engine was so bad it blew my rear seal so they were not responsible. I had paper work stating they did a full inspection on my vehicle when it was in not even 4 weeks prior and Art the owner claimed they did not when I had the paperwork right in front of me. It was the worst experience and I am now out a vehicle as I was not going to pay thousands of dollars to get a new engine when it should not have blown in the first place had it been done correctly. I tried to reach out to head offices or speak to a higher up, I even tried to call other tidelands to get a head office number and there is not one.
This shop is extremely unprofessional. Art was screaming at me over the phone (I have witnesses) and very unkind, letting me know I did not want to get on his “sour side”.
They over charge, do not do work correctly and have not been true to their word.
I have also read many other similar stories.
I would definitely stay far away from this shop.
I also have paper work, messages, etc. to prove all of this.
