DO NOT shop here. They sell expired products and when confronted they ignore customers. I attended the store on November 24th and purchased mixed essence to make Christmas black cake. When I attempted to cook the next day I noted that when it opened the jar the product which is horrible was completely hardened and would not come out of the container. I called the next day and spoke with the staff who when asked for a name would only supply "Dato". She proceeded to drill me for 10 minutes on the phone as to when I bought the product, who sold it to me and she was focused on denying that my purchase has been made at her location and kept asking me which location I mean my purchase at. I finally simply told her I had my receipt in hand which I had been mentioned throughout the call and read off the lane no., cashier, transaction number, date and time. At this point she agreed to take my name and number and have manager get back to me "sometime" in the next day (Sun). No manager called me back or followed up with me. In the meantime my husband whose eyes are better than mine noted that the expiry date on the package was March 2013. On Monday I called back again and spoke with the same person and told her I have not received the call whatsoever from her manager that the product was a long expired and that I would like a refund. She replied she didn't know about my refund and that she was surprised the manager did not get back to me but that she herself will follow up the manager and insured to get back to me by the end of the business day on Tuesday. I expressed my frustration of having to call the store repeatedly, and chase staff to address this matter for what amounted to a $3 product. She did not call back. Most often when it entered the store it is empty the shells are fairly bear and there are few customers inside I now understand why and will not be returning to shop there again. I have no respect for a company and employees and a manager who don't care to address problems in their store with customers promptly.
