Horrible deflating experience…
The main reason of this review is to bring awareness as to not let the “high score” make you think this place is a safe bet when it comes to a tattoo…

The reviews high score is what enticed me initially to contact them and that is why I feel almost responsible to write this review.
Derrick is the artist I was paired up with to work with on my design.
Everything went well at first and I was told Derrick would email me the design a couple of days before my first session appointment.
I thought to myself, wow, a couple of days prior? What if we need to make changes? Is that enough time?
I didn’t question it to much as I figure the must know what they’re doing…
After a month a half (a week before the first session) I followed up and there was no response.
I decided to phone and was told he will
Email the design that day…
Long story short I never received anything…
The evening before my first appointment I called Derrick to see if I was supposed to come in still as I never received anything…
Derrick basically said, yeah, come in, you’re going to love it…
I went in, and saw the design. Suffice to say it needed changes…
He said, “oh you should have made an appointment to see the design”…
I tried explaining that I was told he would send something… he wouldn’t even let me finish…
I figured there was no point on discussing how we got to this point anyway…
I wanted to keep a cordial and amicable relationship as he would be putting something on my skin that I would keep forever.
He took notes of the changes and re scheduled for a week after.
The day of my appointment he got somebody else to cancel on me half an hour before the appointment…
Not just to cancel the appointment but to say that he won’t be taking on the project.
I was relived in a way, as he seemed angry and not happy at all after I didn’t love his design. I wouldn’t want that king of relationship with my tattoo artist…
However I did feel disrespected and I felt he did this in purpose to spite me…
Why would he cancel the project half an hour before my appointment when he had a whole week…
The cherry on top was me emailing the manager detailing the whole experience (I naively thought he must really care about his studio to have such a high score)… I wasn’t looking for an apology or anything like that.
I just thought he should know there’s maybe room for I improvement when communicating with clients…
Well, I never even got a response…As in, yes, this is how much I care…
