I hired Jackson Masonry Ltd in Calgary for a new full-bed stone residential build. Not long after the installation, the stone began to come loose all around the property with stone sills so loose they could easily be moved. The surrounding finishes on the home are standard and sturdy (flashings, angle irons, etc.), leaving no excuse whatsoever for why all the stone would fail. I raised these concerns with Lynsey, Jackson Masonry's principal, and he immediately provided a lengthy list of flimsy excuses and offered to correct the installation for an exorbitant incremental cost. Only when I hired a proper mason and Jackson's work was fully exposed, did it become apparent how flawed the original installation was. If you are ever thinking of hiring Jackson Masonry Ltd. in Calgary, know that while Lynsey may be a mason, he has very little concern for his clients or for standing behind his company's work.
