Physician Tulsi (Vishal - first name) misdiagnosed me and I had a majorly "easy to diagnose" injury (herniated disc) but also very severe. One arm is numb and I have neck pain. Unfortunately, because of my age (35-45) I am vulnerable to this injury; prior to this injury, I had no back issues and was a distance runner. Prior to this injury, I had no pre-existing conditions and was on no medications at all. I was the picture of health!
At age 41, I think I could've been rehabilitated as the damage was only at one level (C5-C6), if not full recovery, then surgery.
Unfortunately, because of this clinic - Kinesis medical centre (btw, I would not trust their 5-star google reviews, not all of them at all, because people can buy them)
To say Vishal Tulsi is a degen er ate is a understatement! I was VERY well aware already of my condition, cervical herniated disc. I was allowed 6 weeks of PT by the WCB but I was not healed in 6 weeks, unfortunately. My spine felt very unstable. I QUICKLY relapsed, and I needed to go back to PT to have manual therapy - one person said she paid for 200 massages and went to 20 different therapists before her herniated discs "were healed" (aka, just didn't cause her problems anymore).
The "care" (if one can call it that) I r/cd at Kinesis was HORRIFIC. I've always had good success with doctors (in the US); like I said, I had no pre-existing conditions. I went to the gym all the time, did cardio, etc. I looked great for my age, and I was super healthy. No known health problems. I was also a distance runner. I ran every day of my life for 20 years - distance runners have the highest disc height!
I can't believe everything these people have taken away from me - just because of a work accident which *there were no safety training/safety standards* I DIDN'T INJURE MYSELF!! I wouldn't wish this injury on my worst enemy either.
Furthermore, to say it's not going to affect a person...this is major. How do you live without using your arms/being able to lift things?
Okay, so Vishal Tulsi MIS-DIAGNOSED ME, 100%. I finally find a decent family md, (Nguyen) he realized Vishal Tulsi is a degen er ate (not his words, he actually didn't say anything. However, I could read his body language) so HE send me back to KINESIS re: CERVICAL RADICULOPATHY.
Guess who I get assigned? Raunch y lady Jennifer Litzenberger "MD" In the flesh. From what I can tell, she basically rips up the referral and just goes with Vishal Tulsi's fake dx of "muscle pain" WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!?!?! You have to be the worst physician on the planet to miss the fact that I CLEARLY have cervical radic.
Meanwhile, I just find stuff online like a podcast re: my condition. I also find info on reddit - that's all my useful information for this injury - it hasn't came from this office because how could it? Not with a fake dx of "muscle pain" that's not my issue.
Basically, these are terrible people.
I would not trust 5-star reviews from this "medical clinic" I think it is better to go to the US for healthcare, honestly, but I guess if you can't afford it, you're stuck using these people who will not advocate for you, even when you really need it.
I keep wondering, "How would you feel?" How would you feel if you were in my position? Injured at work and needing rehab? (furthermore, you can't really work when half your body is numb) Also, you need a payout b/c your employment has ruined your disc, and you will have to pay people to move your stuff (if you move to a new apartment) or paint your apartment, shovel snow, etc.
Anyway, I plan to talk about this/write about this/do podcasts about this/write a book/do a Netflix series about your degen er acy Vishal Tulsi/Jennifer Litzenberger. Can I speak to the rest of the physicians here? Nooooooooooooooo. I would read their reviews.
It's my mission in life to expose you now though.
