I first began to see Dr. Mary when she was in the previous clinic. Without appearing dramatic, she has probably saved my life a couple of times because of careful medical care she has given me. The most recent incident was my cardiologist prescribing meds which Dr. Mary questioned and she advised me not to take them until she talked to the cardiologist. As it happened another patients records were downloaded on to my record by the cardiologists office. When I spoke to my cardiologist, she apologized and said I have a very astute doctor and that i was very lucky. Not much gets by Dr. Mary that she doesnt follow up on. She has willingly stayed late to be sure everything is correct. She always makes certain that I understand what is happening with my body and that her instructions are clear and understood. She is firm but very caring. I dont know how anyone could ask for more from their doctor.
She also saw my nephew who had very bad ankles and could hardly walk. Other doctors told him he would just have to get them fused. Dr. Mary didnt agree, and thanks to her, he had both ankles replaced. He is so thankful to her for her care and advice.
I would highly recommend her as a great family doctor. Only problem is she isnt taking any new patients because many other people think the same way.
