I purchased a new Powercolor 7800 xtx about 2 weeks ago and noticed that a game was now coming for free with the purchase of the card. I went to the store and browsed around for a few minutes and noticed two PCI-E cables that were well opened and out of their boxes.

I took both cables to the front till and that's where Steve, one of the store mangers at the Cambridge location comes in. I told Steve I was interested in purchasing both of the cables if he could give me an open box discount on them since they were already opened?

Steve refused to give me any discount on the items. I said fine and that I would have Dave the other store manager see what he could do for me and to just put them aside with a note for when Dave came in for his next shift and he refused again to help me.

I then presented my receipt for my video card and asked if I could at least get my free game which I was entitled to? Steve took my receipt left and then came back telling me that he could not give me my game code without contacting someone else in Canada Computers to get me it and there was no way to get me it right away?

By this point I was very unhappy but kept my calm. I told Steve if that was the case that I would simply go get my card and return it and repurchase another one if I had to so I could get my game. this is when Steve got angry with me and said it was time I left the store.

I went home and got my card returned to the store and went straight to returns and started the return process. As I was processing my return Steve walks into the store from his coffee run and comes over and tells everyone outload that "he will be handling me"

He told me he would do my return and that I was no longer welcome to purchase anything from the store anymore.

I once again kept my calm told him that was fine and left the store.

Both my daughter and my wife were both present for his immature display at being a leader. The store not only lost the sale of a $1600 video card but also the sale of the two opened box cables.

I have been a purchaser of Canada Computers products for well over 25 years and have never been disrespected like this in a store in my life. I hope he does not treat others like this because I'm sure its very bad for business.

First time in C.C. and went to cambridge location, upgrading very old rig with a setup in mind and Ashton was actually very helpful. Told him my budget after the gpu cpu case combo and he found every part extremely fast on the computer they had (which were actually really good value parts on the black friday sale) he also answered alot of my questions which were probably not all good questions. Actually appreciated the service and did a whole build in one trip. TY Ashton, pray for me to build this masterpiece correctly
