Reviews of Farm Boy in Cambridge

I went to the Farm Boy location outlined below to purchase a loaf of bread to prepare breakfast. I arrived at the store at 7:58 a.m.

I waited to see if someone would open the doors to let me in when I noticed a Cashier milling around talking to a co-worker. I knocked on the glass door in an attempt to get her attention. Shed mouthed, "we're closed".

Approximately a minute later a key holder arrived at the door and proceeded to unlock a door. I asked him if I could enter the store pointing to my watch and stating the time: two minutes to eight a.m. His response, " I'm sorry sir, we're closed"

At this point I drove to a competitor's store and purchased what I needed for breakfast.

Is this the quality Farm Boy Customer Service you pride your organization on? Clearly, if I had arrived at ten minutes to opening I could understand this response, but less than three minutes? REALLY??

No coupons or offers are required, nor am I interested in an apology. If your organization was truly sorry, this wouldn't have happened in the first place. Customer service is about serving your presenting Customer's needs, not arguing over two or three minutes which could represent the difference between two time pieces.

Totally petty and unnecessary. Be assured I will share this experience far and wide with friends and anywhere Farm Boy provides a review space.
