I went middle July 2023 honda dealer at chateauguay to check my radio touch screen of 2017 Honda civic touring which is giving me red, blue, green flashing light as soon as I touch and i was not able to use it anymore. Basically it was accidentally hit from my fingers after that its giving me problem. Anyway long story short, when I went there if they can fix it or find the problem from their experience from diagnostic machine. After 1 hour Service Advisor named Sara came to me and said the radio touch screen can not be fixed, I need to replace new one priced $1500 plus tax and if the audio not working I have to change entire sound system. All these report had been written on the paper 📝. Then i had to pay fir their diagnoses report $104 tax in. After few days I went to FYB Audio in valley field my friend works there named Tom best honest electronics mechanic and simple hearted man. He found out only there was lose connection & when he plugged in .. it was turn on like magic 🪄 . I did video on it as a proof. Next day I went to Same encore Honda dealer. I met same service advisor named sara and shower her video that my original radio touchscreen is working like
before & it was fixed just to plug in lose connection properly.I told her to refund my money for ineffective or wrong report. She then said sure but she need to talk supervisor. Supervisor came to me with angry 😠 face and said no way we will refund the money as they spent time on it. I said ok but cant give my money for false report how come machine doesn’t know lose connection where u guys advising me to buy new one or from scrapyard, doesn’t make any sense and it was not fair. Then after waiting 30 min I had opportunity to talk with him and after talking 15 min his answer is negative & also refused me. I told him you can keep the money $104 but its not fair and i found customer satisfaction is not priority. Finally I handshake him U cant digest my money if you r not right . Even though I am walking way but the truth will come today or tomorrow..
