My family reached out to Nest Realty; specifically Jana Thompson to help me look for my first home purchase in the form of a condominium. Jana showed us two condominiums one which I placed an offer on. While placing the offer Jana sent me documentation to sign without explaining what they were and all the information on the contract. I admit I knew nothing about what I was looking at and signed the contract. When the offer was outbid I first requested Jana to set up more appointments but 12 hours before the date of the appointment I asked her to cancel said appointments as I was not interest in the buildings; SHE did not cancel the appointments.

During this time, my Grandmother reached out to another company and set an appointment to view a condo in her name. I took my Grandmother to this viewing as she no longer owns a car. Jana messaged me that evening asking if I went to see another place with another realtor. I advised my Grandmother went to see another place I was just her ride. Jana then stated I was under contract with her until the end of JULY; this was never discussed with me.

I reached out to Jana today requesting a release from the contract as I no longer wanted to work with Nest Realty. She stated to me "That's fine Robert - I don't care to work with a client who has no respect". I requested the release be sent to my email politely; she responded with "When I get a chance" "May be later this week. You've wasted enough of my time" "You should be grateful to the people who have tried to help you. Stop taking advantage of people".

Some time passed then she messaged me back with "I have thought this over and there will be NO RELEASE". I ignored the message and continued on my work day when she called my cellphone. I sent it to Voicemail as I was working. In her message she was very rude and belligerent claiming that no release will be given. I attempted to contact the main office after my work day and was unable to speak with anyone.

From my experience with Jana Thompson and Nest Realty I will never suggest them to any of my friends as they only acre about themselves and do not acre about helping people who are new too buying homes.
