The unit was taken in for simple “alignment check” with digital machines and control arm replacements with multiple known repairs required.
I have no issue providing income for other shops but this shop decided to deceive my goodwill.
We were charge $140 to tell us what I already know was wrong as was explained on drop off
They changed the oil without consent and charged us. Upon fluid check after pick up, 3 liters had to be drained due to OVER FILL. (that will KILL and engine)
The control arms were not installed to spec alignment and had to be readjusted
The known leak on the transmission line was agreed to for replacement, in addition to a transmission seal.>>>>>> fluid level was 1 liter LOW when checked after pickup.
When picked up the owner said he would give a discount on future work because of his admitted errors .. I would never deal with this company again nor should anyone who cares about their vehicle.

We sent this truck in for a simple toe check and after conversation with the owner, I decided to "let them swap out the axle seals and replace supplied control arms". He also informed me of things I was aware of and asked if I would like them attended to such as a small bleed on the transmission line. I said YES, by all means replace that line, I will pay for that to be done.
I go to pick up the truck....
- I was charged $140 to tell me the that the transmission line was bleeding, they called it an inspection. Odd that they were not able to determine that the ball joints were also in need of replacement which was planned for that unit. What kind of inspection is that????
- I was charge for an oil change I DID NOT ASK FOR. I had oil and filter in the truck because I just went to NAPA and got supplies so they used those materials.
- the control arms were not set to proper spec and had to be adjusted
- the oil change they performed was 3 quarts to high and had to be drained

stay clear if you know anything about an engine, its terrible to think you have to check your fluid levels after a licensed shop messes with a vehicle. In this case we would have blown an engine because of Fenton Automotive if we did not check every bolt turned in that shop.
