received a luxury pedicure at Sanctuary yesterday. I love this place, but I won't be back. The aesthetician who did my pedicure was sweet and gentle. She wad knowledgeable and helpful. However, the receptionist I talked to today was quite rude. I called to offer feedback and let them know that I was dissatisfied with my pedicure, because today I noticed that the polish had already chipped the day after the pedicure. This happens, no biggie. I paid for a luxury pedicure though, and I told the receptionist that I wasn't happy and her response was horrible. She offered to get me in for a fix this week. I am a busy mom. Finding time to come in for my pedicure was very difficult. I'm not able to go in for a fix. I actually had to order nail polish tonight so I can fix it myself. I asked if perhaps they could put some kind of a note or some kind of a discount on my account for next time I come in. She offered to put me in for a fix the following week. I again reiterated that it is very difficult for me to make appointments because I have a young child and a fix next week won't change that I have to fix it myself this week. She didn't seem to care. I also mentioned that I wasn't comfortable, because when I had booked my appointment and confirmed my appointment, I specifically asked what Covid protocol was in place at the spa. I specifically asked if all attendants would be wearing masks. I was told YES they would be. To my surprise when I arrived not one employee was wearing a mask. I am immune compromised, and I rarely go to establishments that don't have a mask policy in place. That's why I specifically asked. I was told that the rules changed on Thursday. Great, however, why wasn't I notified of that when I asked during my confirmation phone call? Also businesses that care about their clients usually send an email to their clients letting them know that Covid protocols have changed. I did not receive that email. Furthermore, the receptionist that cashed me out had a very obvious cold. So much so that she could barely speak and had to dart behind a privacy screen at the desk to try and compose herself. She was visibly congested. I didn't say anything at the time of my visit because, I didnt want to complain, but the attitude I got today was the last straw. I asked if I could speak with the manager, and I'm waiting for a callback. I will update this review if the manager calls back and makes things right with me; however, as it stands, I will not be going back to Sancturary Spa which is a shame. You would think businesses would care about keeping clients.... apparently not.
