DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!
WARNING!!!!

I highly do NOT recommend this company (Coldstream Designs) for ANY types of your renovations! Please, save your time and money and search for somebody else! Ask your friends first! I already wasted over $22k since signing up with them and keep loosing ;(

To me they seemed nice, professional and good looking at the beginning, but really from the first day I sent them money they showed ignorance, irresponsibility, rudeness, lack of any knowledge in what they are doing. They refuse to hold any responsibilities for the trades they hire. You can google the company's ceo. This review is to express my opinion about the company.

!!! Here is what really really disappointed me:
- installed wrong cabinets with wrong hinges, wrong slides, bad alignment, bad quality mechanisms
- damaged brand new cabinets with holes, scratches and splashes of non-removable paint
- chipped the floor tile
- threw out my belongings and appliances without asking me
- uglified walls and ceiling
- installed electrical against the code (!!!) in near-water areas which is illegal, is a safety hazard and could be a fire reason
- some electrical outlets were installed without wire connections and are not working, however the company charged me as they are
- left exposed wires as well as damaged and unpatched walls
- were extorting my money (over $2k) for random extra work without changing the initial contract
- were vilifying my place, my project and the city of Oshawa
- refused to finish what was paid for and what was stated in the contract and abandoned my project
- delayed kitchen installation by over 9 months in a tiny condo
- several times illegally modified the contract after! it was signed
- they do not give any warranties and take no responsibility for the quality of their work and its safety
- they do not answer phone, do not respond to emails on time, only when they want your money, they ignore messages for weeks



I really think this company's licenses should be confiscated. These people should not be in the market.
