I called Neil for an emergency visit on the 15th this month, I thought my dog had an impacted bowel as she has a chewing sock problem. We called him at 10pm that night and he was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to see her that night, “you better decide if you want to bring her in tonight because I have to get up early” was his exact words. We decided to get her checked just incase, when we got there he was rude and acted like he didn’t care about the dog. He then proceeded to feel her stomach, tell us that we got everyone out of bed for her to be a drama queen and a sook and said she looked bow-legged. Note that he didn’t even check her legs just said that, didn’t take X-rays or anything. I got pet insurance because how many issues she has with chewing things and I had to take her in today because she fell down the stairs and hurt her right hind leg. I was told it would be around $200-$300 for xrays, when I got there it was magically bumped up to $600. I told him I will wait and go to a different vet because that’s too pricey as the others I called it was only $200-$400. The night we went in for her stomach he did not write anything on her file, I called my insurance today to inform them I went to get X-rays and only paid for the checkup since it was too pricey. They said that there was now on her record that on the 15th she went in for her legs yet it was actually the 28th. We have 7 dogs and I can bet none of them will set foot in that animal hospital again.
If getting up for emergencies and actually caring about the animals is too hard for you to do, DONT BECOME A VET.
