Highly recommend Duane for hair color and cut!

My friend Duane Drover called me in Nunavik to let me know that he’s working at Salon Agustin. Duane has been my hairstylist for so may year, he’s truly the best in his domain. Congratulations Salon Samuel Agustin for having Duane amongst your hairstylist professionals! I’m excited to try out his new work place! ♥️♥️ Can’t wait!

I wouldn’t recommend this place! — Based on years of experience. I went to Salon Augustin (twice, years ago) and I didn’t have the best experience. I decided to change stylist and give it a third try. Last week, (a few hours before my appointment) they called me to cancel due to the stylist's son being sick. The receptionist kept yo-yoing back and forth with her line of questioning regarding rescheduling. (On the first cancellation she was rude and filled with attitude). Now today, again a few hours before my appointment they call me to cancel. — Now to clarify I understand emergencies/illness happens. What I can’t comprehend is adults patronizing and interrupting a client. The receptionist wouldn’t stop patronizing me and interrupting me. After I clarified to her to stop doing that for us to communicate it resulted in her abruptly placing me on a brief hold. I was then talking to the “manager/owner?” And he again proceeded to interrupt me. Once I told him he was doing exactly what his receptionist was doing he told me “okay, how about you speak and then I’ll speak.” — This is the epitome of having a conversation with a grown adult. You allow them the respect to communicate their concerns then you speak. Instead, the receptionist and the man both seem to not comprehend the dynamics of a successful conversation. This was the third time I wanted to give this salon a chance but I should’ve stuck to my instincts the first time around. I wouldn’t recommend it. There were constant dialogues & warnings to avoid this place. I should’ve listened. If you don’t believe me I’m sure your own experience will prove it to be true.

I’m talking about the owner and receptionist. Doesn’t excuse the lack of professionalism. Also any negative reviews; they ask clients to take them down by offering free services.
