Been with Dr Beairsto since late 1979 when I had returned to live in Canada after growing up mainly in England. He and I have known each other in Health and major sickness, following my two failed back surgeries in approx 92-93. As any who have been thru this particular misery, will tell you Dr's are very, very, hard to find. Dr Beairsto never hesitated, and has stuck with me through thick and thin, going so far, when I was stuck in Battle mode, and the system conspires against you, to advantage of the insurance companies, ensuring you have no access to social services, you're on your own. He didn't hesitate to write a blank cheque, until my pension funds (cashed in) came through. Luckily the funds arrived, and I didn't have to use it. The point is, he did it without reservation, and has done the same in other ways, for many others, and it's only the few that I'm aware of, mentioned in passing, often by the people themselves. I guess you really don't get to know the metal of a man, until tested in adversity, he's always passed with flying colors, and many times over, for many various and different people. This Doctor isn't only really good at his Job, way above the level you'll find with any other GP. He's a really good friend when one is really needed, regardless of how well he knows the person.
