During my summer experience with Capital Windows in 2023, I encountered significant issues that stem from poor management practices. Dealing with the payroll team after every paycheck became a frustrating routine due to frequent missed payouts under my name.

The part-owner of the company, in charge of payroll has consistently caused problems for employees, particularly regarding the commission-based pay system. Many completed jobs were severely under-quoted by the company, resulting in lower pay than promised. Despite employees raising this concern, management was slow to address it, leading some of us to consider leaving.

Moreover, the equipment provided for our jobs was subpar, often breaking down or not functioning correctly. Repeated attempts to get the equipment fixed or replaced yielded little progress, hindering our productivity.

Adding to the frustration, employees were required to pay for company vehicle gas expenses from our own wallets, with delayed compensation for weeks.

I found it disheartening to witness employee issues being disregarded to the point where some colleagues walked off the job. Personally, these experiences have left me with no desire to continue working for this company.
