Reviews of Keegano Housing Co-op in Edmonton

Keegano is aweful, they are trying to steal & sue $13,000 from an 88 year old elderly dementia resident, that had to move, Because keegano refused to make one of the 2 handicaped units avaliable for him, but have capable residents living in them 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️? After almost 50 years of tenancy, being a board member and spending many years helping Keegano become who they are, this man is being taken to court to pay for a wall to be put up to make the unit a 3 bedroom again. $13,000 from $1,000 it would have costed him over 35 years ago. They even refused a $5,000 settlement the family proposed, in good-faith for half the costs. he his mentally incapacitated and unable to barely walk, but court and $13k means more then compassion & integrity. Well done keegano. here's the unrenovated/unpainted 50 year old unit. original everything, but not 1 hole in the wall even after such long tenancy. Do they really need the $$$$ from this man, otherwise where are they going to get the $ to renovate.
