Reviews of Pioneer Hitches in Edmonton

After years of pulling a trailer we switched to a 5th wheel. I knew nothing about pulling a 5th wheel and what type to hitch I needed or wanted. The staff at Pioneer were the perfect people to talk to. He explained the types and differences in the different hitches. Answered all my questions and helped me make a great choice in a Curt A20 hitch.

I called for a quote on a hitch install (I would be bringing my own hitch in), explaining what I needed. I was given a quote. I called back 10 minutes later to agree to the job... but the quote then was $150 more. :( Not nice. When I went to pick up the truck they said they needed to charge me for the pins to attach the hitch. I had left the pins in a bag at the back of the truck right beside the hitch to be installed. There was no budging... they were going to charge me for those pins. Finally someone took me to the back of the shop where the mechanic told us that he had indeed put my pins in the hitch. I was grateful for his honesty. On the positive side, we were grateful to have the hitch put in quickly. Sadly, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Get a quote in writing. Make sure that an employee sees the parts you are bringing in... take a picture for proof.
