Reviews of Saddleback Dental Centre in Edmonton

This is my very first time to give a BAD review to someone or to a business entity. If I could just give a 0 star, I would!
I had horrible experience with Saddleback Dental Centre.

*After my first appointment with all the check-ups and x-rays. I was told that the molar root and 3 other teeth need to be extracted, 3 crowns need to be replaced and I need partial upper and lower dentures.
So, Saddleback Dental Centre sent me to an oral surgeon to extract my molar root because they said they are not able to do it in their clinic. It was fine with me…

*When I went back for my next appointment, I was expecting that they will be the one to extract my 3 other teeth on that day. I was told that I need to go back again to the oral surgeon. They are unable to extract them because my 3 teeth were being treated before (root canal). Oh wow! They could’ve sent me to the oral surgeon for everything then! So, I went back to the oral surgeon, and I was put to sleep again for the second time. I said to myself, it’s fine. Mistakes happen. I just want to get it done. And the crazy thing was, the flipper teeth they gave me to bring to the oral surgeon to wear after surgery was wrong! I ended up NO 3 teeth in front for 2 weeks!

*Before December 2021 ended, I gave them a call asking them to send a request for estimate to my insurance company so that we can continue my treatment. I still need crowns to be replaced and upper and lower partial dentures. I explained to them that I really need to finish my treatment as I’m going back to work soon. I’m working in customer service, it’s not pleasant to look at if you have missing teeth. They said that they will send the request for estimate and I was told to check the status on-line. I was checking it every week!

*February 14, 2022 (6 weeks already from the date I called them to ask them to send a request to my insurance company!) I have decided to give them a call to follow-up. The receptionist couldn’t tell me more, she told me that she will let Pearl call me because Pearl is the one sending the request to the insurance company. OK FINE!

*February 15, 2022 I received a call from Pearl. She was claiming that she did send the request. I asked her, why I haven’t received anything from my insurance company? It’s been 6 weeks! Her explanation doesn’t make sense at all. Every time I speak she kept on cutting me off. She wouldn’t let me talk! She doesn’t have a listening skill at all. I was feeling disappointed and frustrated.

*For you Pearl, with the ordeal that I’ve been through in your clinic, do you think I deserved the way you treated me? You should’ve at least show empathy to your patient/customer!

My family and I do NOT, will NOT, NEVER recommend this dental clinic!
