I have just had a terrible experience with Western Living Homes, and I want to share that with others. We wanted to buy a spec house from them and after signing the offer contract and removing the financial conditions, the builder (Nicholas) has decided to do not sell the house to us without any acceptable reason. Our lawyer and broker said that this is the first time that they see something like that!

As the prices are going up, he decided to cancel our contract so he can sell the house later with a higher price. WLH forced us to stop working with our realtor agent, however, all other builders cover the realtor agent expenses as this is the buyer’s right to have one. They also said they can customize the house for you, but they refused to do that when we put the offer on the house. This builder is far from being reliable and professional.

I just bought another house with another builder, and I never had any of the mentioned problem with them. Other builders also gave you better credit for appliances. MDF shelving and other upgraded features that you have to pay for them in WHL are all basics and provide by other builders. DO NOT Waste your time, money, and peace of mind with this unprofessional builder. Also talk to the neighbours who bought the house from WHL to see that they have many unpleasant experiences with WHL. We never recommend this builder to anyone.
