Took both my husband and myself’s formal attire from my sons wedding to get dry cleaned. Somehow they lost my formal dress. I gave them almost a month of either looking for it, replacing it or refunding me. Not once did I go in there yelling and screaming. Of course the owners are never around, so only dealing with the lady at the front. I did not get a full refund for my dress. I had the receipt and the dress was worn only once for the wedding. Their reasonings were they found it on sale online but of course they couldn’t get it because it was discontinued in the color my dress was and they said because my receipt showed the dress was bought in December and this was now May that I can’t prove the dress was worn only once. How many people buy a formal dress for a wedding of their child and chance wearing it before hand and risk it getting ruined. The wedding was in April which of course I could prove. Their attitude with what they offered was a take it or leave it and that a check would be waiting for me by end of day. When I went in there, the lady up front gave me the check, but when I told her I wasn’t happy about it and said, maybe I should take them to small claims court her whole attitude was so do you want the check or not and kind of “good luck” otherwise. I have lived in that community for 40 years or so and yes, I don’t take a lot of dry cleaning in but still was appalled by their whole attitude. Needless to say, I’ll never step foot in there again. To me this whole situation should’ve been handled personally by the owners. This business definitely is not there for the customer.
