Reviews of Brown's Moving & Storage in Elmvale

Nice moving crew who work efficiently. However, estimation & billing practices are very questionable. Provided in-person estimation walk-through, but failed to get everything on their 40ft trailer. Left a garage full of belongings for us to deal with. We then had to make 1 utility trailer run and rent our own 14ft truck to move the remaining, adding another 10% cost and major stress and aggravation, essentially defeating the purpose of hiring movers. No apologies offered. After failing to move about 15% of our household, the final billing came in 25% over-estimation, no calculation detail provided as requested. Out-of-town charges came in 53% over-estimation, without explanations, as requested. Clearly not equipped to move bigger 4 bedroom households. Regretfully,not recommending.
