I feel bad for these people because these are tough times and clearly their business is struggling. But, when you have a broken chain repaired and it costs $73 -- there's a bit of theft going on. They purposely do not give you an estimate, arguing that because they send pieces out to a third party, they don't know the cost. But the idea that a chain that only cost $45 would cost $73 to be repaired is so absurd, it never crosses your mind. They must have to resort to these absurd measures in order to stay afloat, but just don't go into the shop as you will be robbed in this manner.

I would definitely recommend this place.
I had a pair of wedding rings that were from my parents so they had sentimental value. I wanted to have them transformed into something more modern, better looking for my wedding. I went to a few places but they were not very helpful and prices were too high for what I would be getting. Plus they wanted to melt the gold together with other gold and I really wanted only my gold. As I mentioned it has sentimental value. I was ready to give up. Then I have found Fantasy European Jewellery on Bloor and Royal York and I could not be more happy. They spent considerable time with me to see what the best choice and design would be. They reshaped the rings and put a nice, clean design on them for a reasonable price.
I have some scrap gold and I am going to see them again to have a bracelet done.
