This firm employs the most unprofessional estate law clerk I have ever encountered. I made enquiries about transferring mineral rights as part of an estate for which I am the estate trustee. The law clerk did seem to have knowledge and experience in this matter so I was initially encouraged. Her entire manner towards me was off-putting though. She would not make an appointment with me so I could bring in the necessary paperwork until I made a further phone call to a beneficiary to clarify a point because she said it would be a waste of her time. I did that the following day, and called back but she was out of the office. I called the next day & left a message for her to call me back. Three days later I had still not received a call back, so I called the office again. Again she was away, so I left another message. I finally was able to speak with her the following week and relayed the information she had asked me to get. She then told me in a very flat voice that they did not want to do this work for me, making up lame excuses that I should use a firm in the city where the mineral rights are because that’s where the registry office is. When I asked her if transfers weren’t done online anyway she admitted they were but now said her firm didn’t want to do this work. This firm not only lost this estate business but the future estate “that’s the way business is”. Most unprofessional.
