I was debating on writing this but I want to help others not to loose their money have their hair messed up like me.

For starters, I have never had an issue with anybody doing my hair until I came to blonde. For reference- I booked a full head of foils and was charged for a full head (around $230).

After I left the salon and started playing around with my hair and doing different styles I started to notice huge sections of my hair that were not highlighted at all. I thought that was odd as my stylist didn’t mention anything about not doing the full service. Wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt, I sent photos and a detailed email to the salon as soon as I noticed (which was a few hours after my appointment). *Upon looking further and having my hair looked at by another hair professional it was clear that only the TOP layer of my hair was foiled, so I’m the salon it made it seem like she did my entire head (which is what I paid for).

It ended up taking me trying to contact them in multiple different ways to even get a response (which was a week later at this point). I was told that they never received any communications from me (I have read notifications that they did indeed see).

After having to re-explain the situation again, as they said they did not see any of my communications (even though my “seen” notifications say otherwise). I as well explained how I was not in reasonable driving distance to the salon and was out of town (due to the week passing). I had shown her the photos (which looked atrocious and I wish I would upload), explained the entire situation and asked for a partial refund to at least only have paid for a partial head of foils (which is hardly what I received) because I could not return to the salon and was trying to be reasonable.

By the time I received a response 3 weeks had now gone by since my appointment and I was told that my hair was “inline with the price I paid and time allotted”, and followed up telling me it was a time issue. I then explained how I didn’t understand why my stylist wouldn’t tell me she ran out of time and couldn’t finish (as I never told her that I needed a rushed appointment?), and I have never had a hair stylist have to extent my appointment. I was only in the salon for about 1.5 hours which it typically takes 2~2.5 hours to completely foil my hair properly (so it seems that she cut my appointment short). At no point was I informed that my was not going to be fully completed during the appointment and if I had known, I would have rebooked.

It has now been 4weeks since the appointment and since I left my appointment I have had to walk around with only the top layer of my hair highlighted and 3/4 of my hair with 3 months of regrowth.

Blonde lied to me during my appointment and failed to let me know they didn’t finish my hair YET charged me like they did. I had to spend an enormous amount of time trying to get in contact with them, while I could see they were seeing my messages and actively choosing to ignore me (which seems very unprofessional).

The end result was Blonde telling me that their “full head of foils” only means that the top layer of your hair gets foiled, as their exact words were “this is inline with their full head of foils service”. I had my hair damaged by bleach for them to only do 1/4 of my hair, so essentially for nothing, and spend ~$230 for them to do so. Unfortunately I had to learn my lesson the hard way that they are not honest with their services or the amount they charge you.

I am writing this in hopes that I can prevent this from happening to others. I would not recommend going to this salon for foils or any floor service and if you do please thoroughly check your hair before leaving and make your stylist show you the back and underneath layers of hair.

Unfortunately, I was essentially scammed but I definitely learned my lesson.
