Reviews of John Shoe Repair in Guelph

I brought my snowboarding boots to this shop last week to get the sole re glued. John seemed like a friendly guy and told me he could get them repaired. He filled out his normal order intake form and agree the boots could be picked up on January 19th. Which was listed on the order sheet. We had discussed that timing was perfect as i needed them for a snowboarding lesson later that day on the 19th. When i arrived on the 19th the boots hadn't been touched. I received no communication that they wouldnt be done and am now unable to even get rentals due to having no notice and need to miss my several hundred dollar lesson. He offered no apology which was all i was at least looking for as this put me in a terrible position and blamed being busy for not communicating with his customer. He then refused to fix my boots altogether. Terrible customer service. I'm not normally one to write negative reviews but this customer service was the absolute worst.
