Destroyed my dress and refused to take responsibility or issue a refund or compensate for the repairs.

The owner is a bad person. He admitted the damage occurred while in his possession but refused to issue a refund. He didn't even apologize or care at all he destroyed my wedding dress (which I planned to wear again at a vow renewal).

I showed him the receipts from when I bought the dress and had it altered to prove the cost of the repairs and explained I only wanted him to refund the cleaning fees so I could use that money towards the cost. I was not asking him to cover restoration costs, only to refund the money he charged.

He refused and told us they are not liable for anything and to "go talk to a lawyer," and that we were "done." (This is NOT true, they ARE LIABLE, I have spoken with the police and confirmed this!!!!)

Do NOT go here. IF something happens to your clothing they will NOT take responsibility or compensate the customer. Please read other reviews that had a similar experience to myself, it's NOT a one time thing.
