WK Moving is the worst moving company from my experience with them.
We booked a move with them for June 26/21 at 9am, months ahead of the date of the actual move.
The move was from Hamilton, on. To Tillsonburg, On.
The owner, William, of WK Moving promised me that everything would be taken care of and not to worry.
In fact, the actual move turned out to be our worst nightmare.
First of all, WK Moving got the date wrong (June 25instead of June 26), then, without informing me, they sub-contracted my move to another company from Cambridge, On., the day before the move (Big League Movers).
Big League couldn’t make it at 9am, and informed us they would be there at 12 noon.
In fact they showed up at around 3pm.
In the meantime we had frozen food in Coolers in our vehicles and while waiting over 6 hours for Big League to show up, our frozen food ended up spoiled and had to be thrown out.
The move was completed around midnight on June 26/21.
There were no floor coverings or bumpers place on the floors or railings at both houses, as promised by William of WK Moving.
As a result, there were damages to the walls and doorway at our new house, in addition to damage to our Stereo Cabinet and expensive Leather Recliner.
William, owner of WK Moving offered me a reasonable compensation, which I agreed to, then completely lied to Big League Movers that he had not, even though I had text messages from him, confirming his offer.
Subsequent calls to William from WK Moving went unanswered and he did not returned any of my calls or messages I left for him.
WK Moving is the very worst moving company from my experience and I regretted ever hiring them.
I most definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

WARNING - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE COMPANY! We hired them to move the contents of a shipping container and some other things from inside a house. They charged for more movers than were actually used. They arrived hours late - supposed to arrive around 7:30pm but finally showed up around 2am. They called repeatedly complaining about the driving time, said it was a difficult move & traffic and continually asked for more money. I originally moved all the items there myself, so it was not difficult. We were promised an actual moving truck with blankets and protection. They showed up in a regular uhaul truck with our contents seemingly thrown haphazardly into the truck. No moving blankets or any form of protection was used. The owner who was driving forgot to put the parking break on the uhaul and the truck rolled out of our driveway almost hitting our neighbour's car across street . He immediately demanded the last part of the payment (previously agreed on e-transfer) before anything was unloaded and began yelling and threatening (I had neighbours complaining). He threatened to lock up the truck & drive away, keeping our contents which is illegal. Of the 2 movers we were paying for only 1 actually did any work while the other sat in the truck. The one mover working was complaining that he wasn't even an employee but was on probation/parole and was just doing them a favour. We were compelled to unload the truck ourselves since only 1 mover was working. The other mover was one of the owners - he wanted to go through boxes to see "why they were heavy". Many of our contents were damaged, some badly damaged and now unusable. Many contents had scratches, scuffs, chips or badly bent. They flicked cigarette butts all over our driveway. They next day when we were surveying the damage we found that many items were left at the pick-up location 800km away - valuable items we paid to have moved and some that were of great sentimental value. We have no idea what happened to them. Now they won't return our attempts to contact them.
