DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID HERBS APPLICANCES.

After a brand-new washing machine broke after roughly ten loads Herb was engaged as the only certified rep the manufactures warranty would accept (Probably the only reason he is still in business).

To start his business operations were not aligned with the manufacturer making it incredibly difficult to book him for service. Finally, once he was booked, he arrived late in the afternoon ran a single spin cycle and when the problem did not present (has been happening 1/3 loads) he said that there was nothing he could or would do and left. This 10-minute investigation cost $500 dollars that now is in dispute with the manufacturer as we had to pay up front before we would book the meeting.

This man is totally checked out and doesn't care at all about providing service, what is worse is he better served screwing over the customer because then he will get additional call outs at $3000 dollars an hour. His business not only deserves to fail but needs to so that customers can get someone who will actually provide a service worth what is paid. 1 star is to high of a rating.

We had put in a call to our warranty provider to have a repair company come to our home and diagnose our problem with our stand up freezer.We received a call from HERB’S appliance repair. I must say over the phone sounded very knowledgeable. I sent HERB a video of the sound that the freezer was making. HERB did arrive at home in a timely manner, that’s where it all went down hill with HERB. I’m away on the road working I had indicated to HERB my wife is home and once you’ve had a chance to see the freezer and diagnose the problem is it possible to call me and inform me what it is you recommend we do to repair the problem. Well THREE Days later no call. I attempted on several occasions to reach out to HERB he finally answered his phone most likely by mistake. When I introduced myself he had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. Fair enough HERB is a busy man apparently. Once I reminded HERB about his service call to our home it all came to light. Yes I did look at your freezer nothing wrong with it all looks good. I asked HERB about the video I sent you with the terrible noise coming from the back of the freezer once again no idea of what I was talking about fair enough busy man. When I asked HERB when you removed the back panel to see the motor fan assembly etc did appear to be damaged. HERB couldn’t recall fair enough busy man. I asked HERB what is it he recommended we do. HERB recommended unplug the freezer for Three days. I did ask is this a normal procedure HERB no was his response. I wonder I said to him where is it we would store all the frozen Beef, Sslmon, Halibut etc during these Three days no response. HERB did come up with a solution. Call the warranty provider and request I come back and look at it again. Well HERB we did take your advice and call our warranty provider and we did request a service repairman come out. With that request we had a special request do not under any circumstances ever send HERB to our home again. Shame on you HERB!!!!

I normally don’t take time out of my busy day to write reviews. I’m not impressed with Herb we requested through our extended warranty a repair service come look at, diagnose our problem with our stand up freezer. I had sent HERB a video of the sound coming from the freezer. Herb did arrive in a timely manner once receiving the work order, with that being said once HERB arrived at our home it went down hill from there. I’m away working my wife is home I asked HERB once you’re done at the house can you call me and let me know what it is you recommend be done to repair the freezer. No Call. I attempted to call HERB no answer. It was three days later HERB answered his phone probably by mistake. I asked what he recommended we do nothing wrong with your freezer was HERBS reply. Well I sent a video to you HERB with a distinct sound coming from the back of the freezer. When asked did you take the back panel off to inspect the Fan motor etc, HERBS reply I may have. HERBS recommendation was unplug it for THREE Days. Well HERB we have a Freezer full of food. HERB also recommend if we Hear the noise again put in another service request. Well HERB we have done that and part of that request don’t EVER send HERB to our home again. Shame on you HERB!!!!
