Amazing experience, will be back.

Full story: my senior husky's long time groomer retired just before Covid so we tried a local big box pet store for a wash and blow-out a number of times over the past 2 years with so-so results from the various teenagers who work there. The last visit was with a young woman who suggested at registration that all huskies are trouble and need to be restrained and muzzled. I should have walked away, but against my better judgement I proceeded with the grooming appointment. That event left our dog Luna traumatized, shaking and literally screaming in pain for 2 days. I was really freaked-out. I asked but was not told what happened to cause this extreme reaction. After that, I and made it my mission to find a wonderful groomer in Kanata. I am so glad we did our research and called Pet Agree based on the great reviews. Not only did they listen to our concerns, they squeezed us in for an apt that week (due to a cancellation) and reasurred us they are very experienced, professional and can handle the dramatic husky nature. We were cautious but got a great vibe. We just got Luna back from her first visit, she looks better than ever before and is so happy, giant smile! She got the zoomies as soon as we got home, no depression, no soreness, just pure happiness. I was told she was lightly muzzled and correctly disciplined for getting a bit nippy and vocal but they obvious know how to handle it properly, in fact Luna didn't want to leave when we picked her up (now that is a first). We will be back.
