The facility is nice but that’s not everything when you want the best for you and your horse. If I could give 0 stars I would!
If you look for a safe happy place for your horse do yourself a favour and find another barn because the environment here is under dictatorship- the manager Sarah is rude and has no respect whatsoever for the clients. She has an ego issue and as a client you are not allowed to ask any questions about your horse because she takes everything personal. She treats with disrespect not only the clients but the employees too. She has no shame and yells at everybody.
At first she shows a fake personality with a big smile to get you in but shortly after you bring your horse and settle in she shows her true face and if you want to know anything about the program she starts to bully you.
She is totally shocking in the way she talks and yells at people and if you have a complain, there is nobody else to go to because the owner can’t be found and doesn’t care to meet with the clients or at least to want to know what’s going on.
The manager Sarah was placing our horse’s food (and the food of a few other horses) in the grooming area where people spray Citronella and Alcohol on their horses and a good amount of the spray was falling on our horse’s food, contaminating it.
So many horses were groomed daily and from each horse citronella and alcohol was contaminating our horse’s food. I simply requested to move the food a few steps over in front of the stall so the chemicals don’t reach it and she took it personal and started to trow a real tantrum, yelling and telling us to take the horse and leave. Yes, just for a simple question, a simple request that we had, she made us leave.
She told me that the citronella and alcohol are safe for the horses and if she wants to spray it on all the horse’s food she can do it and it’s perfectly fine. I felt like I was trying to talk to a wall about my concern, she didn’t wanna listen, didn’t wanna know and didn’t care, all she cared was about her hurt ego.
If you find it hard to believe I totally agree with you, it is beyond imagination what we had to deal with. We payed lots of money and we wanted our horse safe, that’s all and nothing more. I never met someone so disrespectful and rude and unsafe for the horses like this manager Sarah who thinks it’s normal to feed horses citronella and alcohol. Nobody can ask anything or have a concern or give a feed back, you just have to keep your mouth shot and follow dictatorial rules if you wanna keep your horse there otherwise they have no second thoughts to throw you out without notice.
We were not given time to find another barn, i had to contact my lawyer so we can have a week to find another place because Sarah was pressuring us to move the horse in 1 day.
No respect whatsoever, No compassion for our horse and No basic customer service.
