I took a few pairs of jeans to have holes repaired. They were properly reinforced, but the edges of the holes were not brought together and the colour of thread used did not match the jean it was used on. The thread lines used to reinforce are also perpendicular to the thread pattern on the jean. And the reinforcing material is exposed, making the repair cringingly obvious. I've known tailors that would easily make these jeans look like brand new, but now they are ruined. Nice couple, but would not recommend them for a patch job in the future.
