Reviews of The Falls Road Pub in Kitchener

In the last six months the clientele has started to go downhill. I have unfortunately heard incredibly bigoted talk there lately. The owners just block anyone who speaks out. I have heard regulars talk vulgarity about servers bodies, seen customers touching servers @sses, heard the “n” word and the “r” word casually, “that’s so g@y” and even worse about transgender people including purposely misgender people. Just consistent hatred and bigotry from the same group of regulars and the owners are aware and do nothing, they could have shut it down or spoke out against it, instead they call it “opinions.” Used to be my local safe space, not anymore. Not a safe space… unless they owners publicly share that they are working on inclusivity DO NOT GO HERE!

This used to be an Irish Pub but has turned into a dive bar. There is never any Irish music playing. Regulars are vulgar and you will hear a lot of homophobic, sexist, and transphobic hate speech. Owners have allowed this to evolve.

Food is not authentic Irish food, many pasta dishes on the menu and don't expect good quality. Pasta is served with powdered parmesan from a bottle. Sour cream and salsa doesn't come with the taco salad - you pay extra. Fish is always over cooked on the outside and soggy batter on the inside. Portions are small and prices are big! Lasagna special was really good until the last few days. Was served a terrible piece, notified the owner and had no resolution.

This place had potential.
