I am giving 2 stars as we actually liked Dr Wood. what a nightmare experience dealing with this place was. We took our dog here for a second opinion as he kept passing out and on the way in he had an episode. Dr Wood said no point in an ultrasound he had chf and that he may have a year to live. He said he may just have an attack and not wake up.he suggested if we wanted to know more we could do a 24 hr monitor and said it was $600. we called on fri am and gave $100 deposit for them to book it the following monday. I wanted to confirm the price and the girl said it was $680... so I asked her to pls make sure and get back to us. At the end of the day, they called to say it was $1200 ...double what we'd been told. The lady on the phone said "your dog is really sick and he has the worst heart murmur.... " (he has a stage 5 heart murmur at this point. I advised her that they went up to a stage 6. "A stage 6 is dead!" she said.

Long story short, we ended up booking through a cardiologist vet for the same price with ekg, ultra sound of heart (dr wood said this was of no use) and consultation. I had to speak to manager to get my $100 deposit back as they told me that even though they'd left a message for the specialist to cancel if he came in then we could not have our deposit back which seemed ridiculous to me. It's not my fault if he doesn't check his messages.

Our dog is NOT in chf. He has a stage 6 heart murmur but is very much alive!!!! He does have the onset of degenerative valvular disease but at the level that you would expect for a dog of his breed and age. Also, Dr Wood put him on 3x the pimobenden that he needs. He is now on 1.5 mg opposed to 5 mg this vet prescribed. Also, the vet cardiologist said it is very unlikely he will have an episode and not wake up.

What a waste of $70 plus the meds $100 going to this place was. We were already upset and worried about our boy. The insensitivity that was shown here just made this more stressful and we are happy we took him to a specialist to make the right diagnosis. I would not go back here for any reason

I would give 0 stars if that were an option…Absolutely HORRIBLE. I have had 2 prescriptions be wrong. They try to over sell you even if the prescription is expiring… I went into the clinic to have them send my records else where and they stated they did however, the clinic has not received them. HORRIBLE
