I would give less than one star if I could, but unfortunately it is the minimum that I could select. Unfortunately you would not have direct access to Westhaven, you will have to only deal through the sales person Anthony Roach, who is a nightmare to deal with.

I recently had the misfortune of buying a home through Anthony Roach who turned out to be an absolute nightmare. From beginning to end, the entire process was fraught with many faults in the build quality, miscommunications, and shoddy workmanship.

To start with, Anthony was completely unreliable, and not trust worthy. Home buying is realizing a dream for many and I am no exception. While in the construction phase Anthony would make it impossible for us to request any kind of upgrade or change, even though we are willing to pay for it. So, you basically have to go with what they give, even if it doesn't suite your lifestyle or taste. He seem to have no clue of what is happening at the site and often give incorrect updates ignoring glaring issues.

The workmanship was atrocious. Every step of the way, the builder cut corners and used the cheapest materials possible. The end result was a home that looked cheap and unprofessional, with shabby plumbing work, shady and cracked walls and floors that creaked and groaned with every step. They seem to have hired some cheap plumber because of which we had plumbing issues from the day one - hot and cold lines were connected incorrectly and we didn't have hot water when we moved into the house and when contacted I was asked to reach out to the hot water tank vendor, who upon investigation confirmed that the plumber interchanged the connections. the water line in the garage and back out the house (for sprinkler) is pumping out hot water.

Above all - there was a sewer backup because of the poor plumbing work that caused flooding in the entire basement, filled with faeces. It is estimated to cost me around 20K to fix the entire thing. The response to this when called Anthony was to reach out to my insurance agent. It is not even 3 months I closed the house and moved in and he seem not interested at all to take responsibility from the builder side to fix the issue. I am having to hire private contractors to fix the entire mess that was caused due to poor construction and workmanship.

The builder was dismissive of my concerns and seemed to have no interest in addressing any of the issues I raised. I had to constantly follow up and make repeated requests to get anything done.

Overall, I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Westhaven to think twice. Especially if you have to deal with Anthony Roach as I would never wish this experience on anyone. Save yourself the hassle and frustration and find someone else to realize you new home dream.
