Terrible ownership of work performed!
Hot water tank installed through these guys (went through Home depot, and these guys were the contractors filling the order). Initially the hot water tank leaked and the technician came out to check… said everything was fine.
Now 2022, 2 years after the install the pan installed was installed on a slant and does NOT drain into the drain hole and water spills and ruined our floor. We had faith in their install workmanship, plus the technician coming back out to ‘okay’ the install for water pooling in the drain pan.
Direct Buy Furnace has taken no responsibility and has ‘graciously’ offered to charge us $160 to check out what’s wrong or charge us $750 for a new install.
Turns out the initial install of the hot water tank and the drain pan was bad and because it takes time for poor worksmanship to cause problems, they say we’re on the hook for all the cost.
Would never trust these guys to do good work and also to take responsibility for their install.
Pretty disappointing
