Good Morning everyone. I just wanted to post my expierence with High Demand Heating so that none of the rest of you single Ladies get duped by this company.

I booked a service with High Demand Heating about a month ago. My furnace was working fine. There was nothing wrong, just a regular service.
The service guy showed up during the time that was agreed and I took him to my furnace. I watched him pull out my air filter and say it's not bad for two years. I walked away and left him to do his service. About 15 minutes later he comes up stairs, "you realize your furnace is not working." And I was taken aback. My house was warm and clearly it had been blowing all night. He's like come and I'll show you. So I come down stairs and he pokes around my furnace "I'm not really sure what it is" as he's testing with his multi meter and fumbling around. Even to me he looks incompetent. "Looks like your gas valve isn't working." I am utterly surprised, I had only booked a service what "timing". I paid him for the call out thinking he had serviced my furnace.

Fast forward to dealing with the company, because of the times, they told me that they couldn't get the parts and I should wait a month for them to get them... with Christmas around the corner. They warn me that the parts are expensive. They never mention a warnty what's so ever...

So I start calling around to find the parts. I call Gandy and confirm that they have the parts. Luckily their guy can come out in 2 days. He shows up pulls out a computer. Plugs it in. NO FUMBLING AROUND. Gandy says "it's very often thst companies will break parts so to have to fix them, it's a common scam. Your furnace is still under warnty for parts, did they mention this?" And I respond no. "What did you call them for?" He asks. I respond "a service". He responds well no service was done, everything is still dirty and their guy even installed the furnace filter in backwards.

Dealing with the front desk lady at High Demand is terrible. She now will not answer my calls. She claims the technician never touched my filter, when I watched him. Her answer is well you could of waited a month for our parts... and nothing was ever mentioned about my warnty.

So now Im out 131.25$ and I don't want the company back. They never serviced my furnace, they actually broke my furnace and then expected me to wait a month for parts from them through below 0 weather and Christmas. The guy couldn't even install a furnace filter properly. And nothing was said about warnty...

Just so you know, I've been told this is a typical scam! They break parts and charge twice, once to the customer once to warnty.

At least Gandy fixed what they broke, but I believe a refund is in order for tricking me into thinking that the service was done. Thoughts?
