RUN! Unless you want toxic exhaust seeping into your home due to a dangerous installation of a boiler.

I wish we never called NuTemp Mechanical when we were looking to replace our boiler. What a headache it's been since the very beginning.

I signed the contract on March 30th, 2023 and the job was not done till mid June. We lived without hot water for a month and a half and it was all due to NuTemp's lack of knowledge and their constant errors throughout the installation - from ordering the wrong equipment to making false guarantees about understanding the system. Once they were "done", we continue to have problems with our hot water and it frequently not working. I finally called them in November (after months of testing the system) to tell them all the issues were were facing. Their solution was to blame excessive demand and send us another invoice of $878.58 without fixing the problem. (They are very good at charging you for no actual work completed.)

I was fed up and called Viessman to direct me to one of their authorized installers. When they saw the system, they were shocked to see how it was installed.

Parts of the boiler looked to be 5 years old - fully corroded. This was a huge cost considering Viessman voided our boiler’s 10 year warranty due the poor and horribly incorrect installation. Not only was the installation not to code, but the venting for the boiler was done so haphazardly that toxic flue gas spillage could have occurred at any moment. Putting everyone who lives in the house at very high risk.

I am thoroughly disappointed in NuTemp and their lack of acknowledgement for this entire situation. They still are not able to understand the severity of the situation and are hounding me for payment of the $878.58. Meanwhile, I have spent thousands on correcting their horrible and dangerous installation.

The company I got for a second opinion and Viessman themselves have suggested NuTemp should not be in the business of installing any equipment if this is the outcome.
