Reviews of Sureway International Electric Incorporated in Mississauga

I am the General Manager for Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Windsor, Ontario. At 3:30 on October 2, 2014 I received a call from Chris telling me that they are sending me a Team Canada jacket and simply need to know my size. I asked "What's the catch here?" and he said we just want to show our appreciation. Then he asked me about which type of light bulbs we use and said he would like to send us a box. I thanked him, provided our address and hung up.

Something didn't sit well with me after the conversation so I googled the company and found many complaints of a scam similar to the phone call I just experienced.

As we are a registered charity, I assumed he was donating the light bulbs and jacket but to be certain, I called and asked about where we should send the tax receipt for their kind donation. After a stunned silence, Chris said "we're not donating anything, we want you to buy it." I explained we had no interest and he hung up.
Mischief managed!

What a fantastic company with a A plus rating from the better Businees Burea and 30 years of service to the community. Too bad thier competitors spread lies about them on line? How silly!

Stay away from Sureway International. They are appear to be in the business of scamming people and companies into purchasing their products unknowingly … nothing more than a tricky telemarketing scheme. They call you up to confirm your info on an order that doesn’t exist, ship the product to you, and a few days later a ridiculously marked up invoice is sent. We realized early in our initial conversation that this was a scam and said we were not interested in their product but they still sent it anyway. I tried calling back and got nothing but the runaround. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told no one was available. Got in my car and drove over to their office to return the sent product only to find an office teeming with personnel; most of whom were wearing headsets busy on their telemarketing calls I’m sure. Not an ethical business.
