They broke my stuff while moving and it has been a year I am running after them after they promised me to pay for what they broke

Beware and avoid at all costs. I hired mini-metro and they insisted all I needed was a 20 foot truck. I assured them they needed a larger truck and even sent a video to show how much my 2500 foot apartment is. I paid for a white glove 5 star service which included un-install and re-install fridge, stove, washer/dryer, Tv's, etc. I am nearly 70 and live alone They showed up stoned, broke a desk in pieces, bureau, glasses and with with only half my things. They also forgot my keyboard and mouse, so I could not work. The manager called assuring me the balance would come the next day. NO ONE SHOWED UP till the third day. No one installed any of the TV's and they charged me for the 2nd truck mileage even though this was their fault. We are talking over $4000.00 here. The manager said, just pay me and you have my word I will fix this and reimburse you if you send me the proof you had requested a larger truck, which I definitely did. He has ghosted me since. Cleaning up their messes, I found a burnt remains of a joint in my stairs and no apology or refund. You will have many regrets if you hire these people. UPDATE; Since this review, the owner called me, yelled at me at the top of his lungs, called me names for writing a bad review and hung up on me. He took zero responsibility the the broken items, offered zero refund and the only way with them will be to have to take them to court. I now have to hire people in install the TVs, washer/dryer, etc. They have no empathy at all.
