Reviews of The Toy Box in Mount Pearl

Think very carefully and read reviews before purchasing from this business. A few years ago we purchased a new snow blower from the Toy Box because my husband had a recurrence of cancer and we wanted a reliable machine given his medical vulnerability. Unfortunately both the machine and the customer service has been relentlessly disappointing. During my husband's entire illness, and since his passing, I have had the machine repaired repeatedly, at substantial cost, but continue to have a snow blower that is not operational more than it is operational. After having it repaired yet again yesterday, the machine has the exact same issue, despite being assured that it was fixed (and paying a significant bill - again). When I contacted the manager he was dismissive, rude and entirely unwilling to take any responsibility. I've heard of many similarly dissatisfied customers over the last couple of years and would encourage you to take your business to a place where it is valued.

I dropped my bike off for storage back in November, I have stored here many times before, I appreciated the service I got, not this year. when you drop it off two days before payday amidst working multiple overtime shifts and say "I will be in to pay the $500 storage fee up front for the season on Friday" and be cursed and swore at trying to give someone that much money a month before Xmas - never again.
went to pick up today and paid them for getting new tires put on (tires purchased at Atlantic recreation - great, fast service).
When they brought my bike out I asked a few questions about the prep before bringing it out and the guy who rode it around said "it's on the sheet." and kept trying to walk away. On the ride home the bike started wobbling, so I brought it to Honda and after 3 weeks of them checking my bike over discovered only thing wrong was the tires I paid them to install weren't balanced. I could've been injured - great job.
