Reviews of Planet Fitness in Nanaimo

My son has been a member at Planet Fitness for over two years now. We'd already paid for the month when he suddenly became of ill health and will not be able to exercise for who knows how long. The surgery was intense.
Essentially Planet Fitness refused to allow me to use the remained of the membership( 10 days) that I paid for.
I cancelled our membership. I was very disappointed in the legalistic, inflexible attitude I received at the end of Planet Fitness policy. I wasn't wanting to take advantage of any policy, just a little compassion and empathy- I just wanted to use the 10 days I paid for. Very disappointed! Won't be recommending anyone sign up for Planet Fitness if they have a life that is unpredictable or flexible in nature.
