Reviews of VK Salon in Nanaimo

I’m not one to leave a review but I have had many experiences in salons and some not great ones in fact but this one has been the most terrible experience. The tools used on my hair was unclean and had previous clients hair on it, my clothing protector smelled of cat urine, the place itself is unkept and for my hair , I have never been more devastated as it was cut choppy and much too short and will need to be cut even shorter to fix it, the colour is not what I asked for and will take me months to grow out. I have never felt more insecure with myself and like I wasted my time and money on something that was meant to make me feel confident but I rather left fighting tears and looking at different ways to fix it and wishing I had just done it myself at home.
