Reviews of H.J. Pfaff Audi in Newmarket

I purchased a 2018 SQ5 from PFAFF Audi in Newmarket on a Friday and on Monday I noticed the brakes were screeching incredibly loud. I reported this to my sales rep Michael and send him videos ( who is great by the way ) who has directed me to the service department, they called me to tell me that screeching brakes are normal on a sq5 in the cold weather… now when I test drove the car it was sitting outside in cold weather and the brakes were not screeching at all, sounds like their excuse was pulled from the clouds…. I park the car in heated underground parking. None the less when you spend 50k on a 2018 used SUV you don’t expect loud screeching sounds from the brakes, they want to book a appointment with me to come in and inspect the SUV but I live in Toronto and the dealership is in Newmarket… was the vehicle not mechanically inspected before I picked it up and it was presented to me? Normally brakes screech when the brake pad has worn down to the metal contacts so it grinds against the rotor and causes a metal on metal audible sound to let the driver know it’s time to replace the brakes.

Very surprising when spending 50k on a suv that not even 500km later or even 5 days later that the brakes are already indicating it will need replacing… frustrating to say the least and I should payed attention to the other bad reviews posted on here.

The sales rep I dealt with gets a solid 8/10 and the service department gets a 1/10
