Reviews of Howard Jewellers in Newmarket

I took my Tissot watch in for the FIRST battery replacement. When the watch was returned the watch had multiple pry marks and scratches. This watch was a pallbearer gift from the family who my friend past at a very early age and was engraved. This watch was never worn and I pointed out the watch was way to big and never had the band adjusted. I always left the watch in the original box with the pin pulled to save the battery. Scratches are so bad that the name of my friend is now unreadable! Talking to Howard they indicated they had to send it downtown to replace the battery. Downtown said the scratches were already there and had pictures. Someone at Howard or Downtown damaged the back of the watch but no one is admitting to anything. Very unprofessional attitude and business practice as I had batteries and bought jewellery at Howards in the past.
Now can you compensate for a memento that is damaged by your store. Just ripped my heart out again!
