Reviews of BC Playthings in North Vancouver

Let me start by saying that we've purchased toys from here before.
We went in this week and settled on a toy. While at the counter, my mom went to purchase the item as i searched it up online just to browse other prices ( found the item on indigo, walmart, amazon too for 19.99. The purchase price for same item was 39.99 at this fraudulent place). She stated that the extra 20$ is us supporting small businesses. This is fraudulent and totally a scam.

I simply voiced the pricing i found while mom was paying. She tapped her card as i finished my sentence....still at the counter. The lady simply said " sorry. No refunds". The owner was present and became upset that we were asking for our money back. I eventually took out my phone and started recording the interaction and still will hold onto it going forward. The rudest most aggressive person ive ever met. They claimed that they have a sign stating " No refunds". Not true. Lol. They also should have stated that there was a no refund policy or whatever their policy is before someone purchases an item. Anyways. This aggressive owner, took the toy and threw it on the street, in hopes of getting us to leave. NOW remember, we purchased a toy. For a child. Which she proceeded to throwing on the street...in the middle of covid!!!! Disgusting behavior. They lost a customer. The cops were called and decided to allow us to figure it out and to let it go. I dont think i can. People BE WARNED and stay away.
