Not trustworthy. I have used the services of Mr. Carpenter as a mediator in my dispute with the ex-spouse regarding Child Support payments in November 2022. We had two sessions. Both of them were run so poorly that the first one produced no progress what so ever, and the second one resulted in my ex-spouse abruptly walking away from the negotiation table. Looking back at how the sessions were conducted, I’ve realized that Mr. Carpenter was quite arrogant about his abilities and experience, but had no strategy or plan for how to close the gap between two positions or, at least, bringing two sides closer to some sort of resolution. Even at the second session, Mr. Carpenter didn’t try to understand or even look at my offer. His sloppy involvement in my case not only cost me more, but it made both sides angrier and pushed us closer to a trial. Stay away.
